FindShip Pro - Track vessels App Reviews

This is the best and most reliable app pulling AIS data. I spent the last couple of days troubleshooting an AIS problem on my boat. MarineTraffic and VesselFinder were not providing reliable data. Even worse their websites didnt provide the same data as their iOS apps! Only FindShip is showing reliable and consistent data for my boat in the Chesapeake Bay.

This was the third boat tracking app I tried. Finally - one that is reliable, searchable and actually has the ships/vessels I am looking to follow. Great app. Good overall info given. Can map and time routes with charts. Great app, but I am repeating myself.

Theres still plenty of room for improvement but findShip pro is quickly getting there. Needs to be more options for customizing boat info and quicker updates would always be a plus, which Im sure you will. Reliable & informative.

My husband is a commerical fisherman. This application is not accurate and several times has been very off from where he actually is or was

So far its done whats promised. I havent tested to see how accurate it is. But it seems to track all marine activity in an area. I wish I had a way to notify you when a ship is getting close to your location.

This is so much more efficient than [another boat finder app], I cant believe it. And using the same AIS data, this App can do so much more with it, mid-ocean positions, for example. The variable course track is also very helpful.

I bought this app to track the course of a cargo ship that my son is working on, and it works very well for my purposes. I had also purchased the Marine Tracker app, but I found it to be, for the most part, useless, as the ship was always "out of range" (in other words, not near a big city!), but that is not the case with this app. Ive enjoyed tracking my sons ship, and also checking the little weather stations in his ships vicinity... This is a simple little app that works quite well!

Dont waste your money ! This application worked fine for 2 weeks and now nothing updates at all only when ships is in port , very very poor application and not cheap at all ! Its to wonder how theses people get away with this highway robbery !

After this major update, this app became the best of its kind Especially after adding tidal streams One thing remains witch is the coverage witch becomes so weak in winter

Tracking all my worldly goods in a container to the UK . It shows the rout the information of the ship where its been pictures , lots of information ,ill be able to tell when it docks, which will be very handy to know . You could probably check on friends and family progress while they are on a cruse , It works really well I am very happy with it so far .

This is a great app! Already worth the few bucks I paid for it on the first night.

Could improve some of the navigation functionalities but the real time is what matters for this and its better than most as it seems to have at least 2 updates a day in remote European areas....

I like the "favorites" feature which easily allows me to find ships Im interested in. The 30 day tracking is also interesting so I can see where ships have been.

This app has been a great help when finding other boats

Hands down this is the best coverage of ANY ship AIS position app out there. The coverage on this app blows everything else out of the water.

Extremely useful not always having to rely on updated ETA lists

This app worked great for the last month on lite (free) version. Then all of a sudden it stopped updating frequently. So I paid for (Pro) version and now it still doesnt work! I work on a harbor tug without AIS and this was the best thing I ever discovered for my job (harbor towboat captain) and now its completely worthless!! Please fix!!!
